Frequently Asked Questions

I'm a solo woman. Will I be able to trek safely?

You're most welcome to join us as a solo woman trekker. Once you book your trek with us, we'll add you to our community WhatsApp group for a pre-trekking briefing, allowing you to connect with fellow trekkers. Additionally, for your safety and privacy, you'll share a tent with another woman, and we also provide separate toilets for men and women.

Why do I have to register the trek so much in advance?

Register for your trek up to a month or a week in advance. This lets you receive a pre-trek briefing, ensuring a seamless trekking experience.

I am obese, and my BMI is high. Can I trek with you?

You're welcome to join, but it's essential to ensure you're physically prepared for the trek. If you have a high BMI and it's your first trek or need a consistent workout routine, we suggest beginning with an easy to moderate trek. These treks feature gradual ascents and descents, minimizing strain on your body.

Can I join your group as a solo?

Of course you can! Whether you're a solo trekker (male or female), a group of friends, or a family with kids, all are welcome to join the treks of Wildvoyages.

Why is fitness so important?

Your trek experience depends on your fitness level. When you're not fit:

  • You won't enjoy the trek.
  • It takes work to keep up with the team.
  • You miss out on the transformative trekking experience.

That's why being fit is crucial. The good news? It's achievable. Just start a fitness routine 45-60 days before your trek.

I have health issues like BP, Asthma, and diabetes. Can I trek?

Yes, you can. But It also depends on your health. Also, It's essential to consult with your healthcare provider before beginning any trekking adventure.
