29 Gujarat Students Complete Dayara Bugyal Trek for Kids, Experience Screen-Free Adventure

A group of 29 young boys from Gujarat recently completed the Dayara Bugyal trek for kids, highlighting a growing interest in outdoor learning and adventure-based experiences among students. The group included participants as young as seven years old.

The students came from different cities including Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, and Vadodara, representing various schools and backgrounds, making the initiative a diverse Gujarat student trek.

The trek to Dayara Bugyal, known for its scenic alpine meadows and beginner-friendly trails, provided the children with an opportunity to step away from digital screens and engage in a structured, screen-free environment.

Organised by Wildvoyages, the program focused on combining adventure with practical learning. During the trek, participants were introduced to essential outdoor skills such as pitching tents, understanding biodiversity, and learning basic survival techniques in natural surroundings.

Safety remained a key focus throughout the journey. The trek was conducted under trained supervision with proper planning, route management, and continuous monitoring, ensuring a secure experience for all participants.

In addition to physical activity, the children were also exposed to local culture and food, allowing them to better understand life in mountainous regions. The experience encouraged them to adapt to new environments and live beyond their comfort zones.

The trek also promoted teamwork and social bonding, as participants supported each other during challenging stretches and shared responsibilities throughout the journey. By the end of the trek, the group had developed strong friendships despite coming from different cities and schools.

Such kids adventure camps in India continue to gain popularity as they offer a balanced mix of physical activity, life skills, and environmental awareness. The Dayara Bugyal trek remains a preferred choice for introducing young students to trekking and outdoor education in a safe and engaging manner.
