Even people who haven't trekked in the Himalayas are likely familiar with its allure and beauty. Even if you haven't been there, you've probably heard about how beautiful it is. But why is it so famous? Well, it's because it's one of the oldest trekking routes in India. Its significance was officially recognised in 1980 when the Indian government declared it a National Park. In 2002, it attained the prestigious status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, further elevating its reputation and attracting adventurers from around the globe. The Valley of Flowers is a moderate-level trek, offering unique access to a section of the Uttarakhand Himalayas adorned with a vast expanse of blooming flowers. It's often recommended as an excellent choice for beginners, suitable for families and children. Along the trek, you have the opportunity to visit Hemkund Sahib, the highest Gurudwara in the world.
